MJ Events have been part of the planning and security operation for varying legs of the Olympic Torch Relay across the country. We have been working closely with Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and Lambeth County Council to support their event and have been in discussions with further Councils.

Tomorrow morning will be an early start for many of our staff as they make there way over to an Olympic Test Event in Stratford, to begin the first of our Olympic work.

Many of you may be aware that we have a new member of staff joined us here in headquaters at MJ Events Support. Dorian, is our new Resources and Planning Manager. He has already got his feet firmly under the table and we look forward to his future in the events industry with us. Watch this space for Dorians ‘Meet the Team’ picture We will be having a photoshoot for him very soon!

Apologies to those of you who have been looking for the MJ Events Support website recently – we’ve had a bit of a facelift here at MJ HQ, and as such, we’re proud to release our new look website!

The new site makes it much easier for us to keep it fresh, and also lets us make changes while we’re out and about during the busy event season!

We’ve simplified a lot of the content on the website, but if there’s something you think we’re missing, get in contact and we’ll give it some thought. We’ve also moved the gallery – and all our photos are now hosted on our facebook page!
