SIA Approved Contractor Audit 2026

We recently went through our annual SIA Approved Contractor Audit and it was a very successful year! We have continued to be awarded the Approved Contractor Status and gained very positive feedback about our company.

An excerpt from the final report stated:

“MJ Events Support Ltd demonstrates effective leadership and a strong commitment to employee
development. The organisation actively promotes from within wherever possible, identifying individuals
with leadership potential and supporting their progression through supervisory training and development opportunities.

Feedback obtained from employees highlighted a positive organisational culture. Staff consistently
described management as approachable, supportive, and accessible, with open communication channels
throughout the business. Employees were aware of and valued the company’s open-door policy,
expressing confidence that concerns raised would be listened to and addressed appropriately.

Senior management demonstrated considerable industry knowledge and experience. The Managing
Director has over 30 years of sector experience following service in the armed forces. The Operations
Director holds an IOSH qualification and is leading the development of a new rostering and check-call
system to improve operational efficiency. The Operations Manager holds a Supervisory and Management
qualification through IPSA, further demonstrating the organisation’s commitment to professional development.

Overall, MJ Events Support Ltd demonstrates strong leadership, effective staff engagement, a positive workplace culture, and a clear commitment to employee recognition and development.”
